A Trip To National Museum

Made a trip to National Museum with my honey yesterday, the pictures shown at the photography exhibition was filled so many superstars that I had a fun time deciphering which was my favourite. We also made our way to the rest of the exhibition halls to take in the artistic feel. Suddenly, I felt elevated a notch higher after brushing aside the "arts'. Hahaha! After that, we had dinner with our friends and I bought a liuli and Starwalker perfume, nice shopping I had :)

All By Myself

The one thing I must learn to do with immediate effect is to keep things to myself and no more sharing with others for the hope of garnering their support or understanding. The only people one can count on for unrelentless support is your own family, only these people give you unconditional support and full understanding. I will keep things to myself from now on and not harbouring the hope that I can rely on others for emotional support simply because no one can do that at all and it will always end up getting more frustrating and deeper misunderstanding. Whoever said share your thoughts or problems because it helps to alleviate the burden should rethink, it does not do that but rather it only puts you in a position where others will view you in their own opinion and not really interested to see from your view or put themselves in your shoes. So I must help myself from now on, to keep all my thoughts, problems and views deep within myself and not expose them. (My headache is so bad now)

And I Telling You I Am Not Going

I watched the movie "Dreamgirls" and there are 3 scenes that stick to my mind and gave me goosebumps. The confrontational scene where they broke into "It's All Over", the anger and hatred and "ganging-up", the awakening feel all rolled into one! That scene was immediately followed by Effie breaking into "And I Am Telling You I Am Not Going" really made all my hair stand up in unison! Her chest thumping and feet stomping gestures with all the hatred and unhelplessness and refusal...whoa! And finally, the scene where Effie sat on a chair and sang "I Am Changing" in a small cosy bar. That scene reminded me of one of my favourite chinese song by Shunza, "回家", where in her MTV, she too sat on a chair and sang this song to a small crowd of appreciative audience. Back to "Dreamgirls", I really loved Jennifer Hudson's "And I Telling You I Am Not Going". Darn, this is such a difficult song to sing! To share the lyrics with whoever is reading this:

夜色无边演唱会

昨晚看了林忆莲“夜色无边“演唱会，惊觉林忆莲的歌声实属顶级！虽然不够high可是绝对值回票价！

Been donning the green uniform again to fulfil my national obligations. The uniform just has the magic to make one feel sweaty, uncomfortable and automatically brainless! And the youngsters today really lack of respect and discipline! I had to resort to my authority to brainwash one of them, which I hate to. It's not in my blood to pull ranks but I will definitely repel when push to my limits.
