The UK-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (UKSFTA) will enter into force
on 11 February 2021.
Following the signing of the UKSFTA on 10 December 2020 by Minister
for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing and UK Secretary of State for
International Trade Elizabeth Truss, the UKSFTA took effect via provisional
application on 1 January 2021.
The UK and Singapore have since worked
expeditiously on the completion of the applicable legal requirements and
procedures for the agreement’s entry into force.
