Singapore / UK - Enhancing Bilateral Economic Relations By Signing A Free Trade Agreement And Agreeing To Work Towards A Digital Economy Agreement

Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing and United Kingdom (UK) Secretary of State for International Trade Elizabeth Truss signed the UKSingapore Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in Singapore. 

They also agreed to start scoping the modules of a UK-Singapore Digital Economy Agreement (DEA), with a view to launching negotiations on the DEA in 2021.
