Quarantine-free flights between Australia and the South Island of New Zealand will resume at 11.59pm on 19 October 2021

Quarantine-free flights between Australia and the South Island of New Zealand will resume at 11.59pm on 19 October 2021. 

Please be aware that although your Australia Travel Declaration will indicate that you are not eligible for a quarantine-free flight, you will be recognised at check-in as meeting the conditions for quarantine-free travel. 

Quarantine-free travel from the North Island of New Zealand remains suspended.
