Yes, I was bowled over by her since I first heard her "尾班车" in the ealry 90s, I think. And yes, she was known as Shirley then. :)

Yah lor, in the 80s, hongkongers are not as "creative" with their english names..most are Shirley, Sally, Sandy..all start "S"..
Unlike the 90s, the hongkongers went totally ballistic and "creative". out of sudden, we have names like "precious", "honey", "cash", "kotex", "gem" etc etc...

Yes, u have heard it right. I have read somewhere that there are a few "Kotex"s in Hong Kong amd PRC. A PRC guy also called himself "Kotex"
