Australia - New Measures for the Skilled-Recognised Graduate visa, Training visa and COVID-19 Pandemic Event visa

Current and former Skilled-Recognised Graduate (subclass 476) visa holders who lost time in Australia due to COVID-19 international travel restrictions will have their visas extended for 24 months.

Singapore Takes Further Steps to Extend Vaccinated Travel Lane

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) will take further steps to extend the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) to reclaim and rebuild Singapore’s position as a premier air hub. 

The CAAS will extend the VTL to more cities in Malaysia, Indonesia, and India to facilitate travel and densify the Singapore air hub’s connectivity with these key markets. We will also launch VTLs from two new countries: Greece and Vietnam.

Japan - Border Measures Regarding New Entry Of Foreign Nationals

Based on the New Border measures (27), from 0:00 am (JST) on March 1, 2022, new entry of foreign nationals into Japan under the supervision of receiving organizations is allowed, except for those for touristic purposes.

Eligible persons (who meet both of the following (1)and (2): (1) Foreign nationals newly entering Japan for a short-term stay (less than three months) for purposes including business and employment or foreign nationals newly entering Japan for a long-term stay.
